The Lubawa-Armenia first Armenian-Polish joint military industry enterprise officially opened on Thursday.

The event brought together Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan, Polish Ambassador Zdzisław Raczyński, Polish Senator and former Minister of National Defence Bogdan Klich, and several other senior guests, the Armenia MOD press service informed.

In his remarks, Ohanyan wished smooth and productive operation to the startup company, and stressed that a new chapter is opened in the history of Armenian-Polish cooperation in military industry. He also expressed the hope that Lubawa-Armenia will expand its production in a short period of time.

In addition, the minister awarded the Medal of Military Cooperation and valuable gifts to several Polish officials and representatives of the enterprise management.

After cutting the symbolic ribbon, the senior guests and military servicemen toured the enterprise.

The Lubawa-Armenia Armenian-Polish joint military industry enterprise is established on the basis of the Charentsavan Machine-Tool Factory.
