Another incident has occurred on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, the Azerbaijani media reported.
A resident of Cafarli village of Azerbaijan’s Qazax Region, which is close to the border with Armenia, was injured by a landmine, Kəpəz TV of Azerbaijan reported.
According to information, Mamed Garasagalov, 37, was taking food to his father, who is a shepherd. Because of fog, however, he got lost, and his horse stepped on an anti-personnel mine that was placed in the neutral zone.
With the help by the soldiers, the villager was immediately transferred to Qazax Diagnostic Center, where his leg was amputated.
Garasagalov is doing fine, but his horse has died.
