YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday signed the decree on relieving Armen Gevorgyan of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Territorial Administration Minister.

When signing the decree, Sargsyan was guided by the Constitution of Armenia.

Armen Gevorgyan’s resignation was announced at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan had informed that Gevorgyan had submitted a letter of resignation and that he will be working in the private sector.

But it is yet unknown who will succeed Armen Gevorgyan as the next Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister.
