YEREVAN. – Armenia's accession to the Eurasian Union will be followed by inflation, former MP Hovhannes Igityan said.

He explained that by joining Eurasian Union, Armenia will violate international agreements, both bilateral and those reached within WTO, World Bank and IMF.

“Besides, no one, even government officials, do not hide that sanctions imposed against Russia have already affected Armenia. The sanctions against Russian banks and large organizations deprive Russia of cheap money, and the mentioned banks have their branches in Armenia,” he said.

Hovhannes Igityan believes that investment projects promised by Russia will hardly be implemented properly.
