YEREVAN. – Starting from Sunday, Armenia’s opposition Pre-Parliament initiative will start a car rally throughout the country, to inform the people about its plan to remove the current authorities from power on April 24, 2015, the centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

Pre-Parliament Spokesperson Varuzhan Avetisyan stated the aforementioned at a press conference on Friday.

“Starting from April 24, we will remove the [ruling] regime [from power], get the people to their feet, and the process of radical political changes will start.

“The Genocide anniversary is not just an anniversary during which we must remember solely our victims and losses. On the100th anniversary we need to put forth the matter of national rebirth, coming out of this colonial situation, and the beginning of an unbound and a sovereign life,” Avetisyan specifically noted.

In his words, their program for a regime change in Armenia differs from the programs of the other political forces in the sense that the Pre-Parliament program envisions a transitional phase of governance.
