YEREVAN. – The apartment-purchasing voyages of Governor Aram Harutyunyan of Armenia’s Kotayk Region are gaining new momentum, Chorrord Ishkhanutyun daily reported.  

“According to our information, his wife and sister have bought an apartment in Paris. It has become known that that this apartment has been registered under the name of the governor’s sister.

“To recall, the daughters of the former Minister of Nature Protection live in a luxury apartment in Foggy Albion [i.e., England].

“It also has become known that Mr. Harutyunyan is slowly cleaning up from Armenia the shady corruption tracks of his official activities.

“He has put up his apartment [in capital city Yerevan] for sale. Before that, he had put up the RepIndustryProject Institute building [, which he had privatized in Downtown Yerevan,] for sale,” Chorrord Ishkhanutyun wrote.
