By joining the Eurasian Economic Union, Armenia could become a major transit corridor for Iran, member of the Armenian chamber of commerce Sargis Aghabekyan said.
He participated in the Armenian-Iranian business forum that is being held in Yerevan brought together businessmen from different fields.
A group of Iranian businessmen included companies representing poultry, cattle breeding, production of agricultural goods, construction and services.
The heads of the Chambers of Commerce of Ardabil Province of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Shirak Region of Armenia signed a memorandum of cooperation.
