YEREVAN. – Four years are both a long and a short time, on Wednesday stated French Ambassador Henri Reynaud, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.
In his words, the Armenian-French dialogue has intensified and the bilateral cooperation has developed during his four-year mission in Armenia.
The ambassador also noted that he is leaving Armenia at the threshold of the slated Paris meeting between the presidents of Armenia, France and Azerbaijan, which will take place at the initiative of France, and that he also has contributed to the setting up of this talk.
As per Reynaud, there is progress in Armenian-French economic cooperation, and collaboration in the field of science and education is developing, too.
“The [French] Embassy staff and our Armenian partners have assisted in the implementation of initiatives.
“Of course, one can always strive for more, but I would like to say that I succeeded in carrying out all planned projects. Now, they need to continue so that the ‘fruits’ become tangible,” Henri Reynaud concluded.
