Armenia's Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Yervand Zakharyan will participate in the regular meeting of the CIS Electrical Energy Council that will be held in Sochi from October 23 to 25.
The participants will discuss cooperation between the Council and international energy agencies, Armenian Energy Ministry said in a statement.
They will also discuss problems related to the work of energy system of the CIS countries, issues of technical re-equipment as well as operations during emergency situations.
Armenia joined the CIS Electrical Energy Council in 1992.
