YEREVAN. – We should move from words to deeds on the development of Armenia's regions, Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan said in response to the question by independent MP Edmon Marukyan.

“If he had extra money, it would be right to spend on development of border villages,” PM said asked about development in other regions, in particular in the city of Vanadzor. “Of cours,e we could do more, and will make some moves. We are ready to discuss the problem and listen to proposals,” he said.

The Prime Minister noted that funds from foreign loans  are first of all allocated to the regions.

“When I was working in the Cabinet in the mid-2000s, we insisted on allocating the funds provided by the World Bank to the improvement of healthcare system in the regions, and several modern hospitals were built,”he said.
