YEREVAN. – “The Constitution is not a shirt which can be changed every day. But if problems have emerged in terms of a need for constitutional reforms, it must be done,” said Council of Europe Venice Commission President Gianni Buquicchio, speaking on the constitutional reform process in Armenia, 168 Zham daily reported.

“Reflecting on the concept [for these reforms], he said: ‘I don’t think that there are a lot of shortcomings in the constitutional reforms’ concept, but there is always room for improvement.’

“Responding to the query on the non-government forces’ accusations that the constitutional reforms are implemented to resolve matter of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s reproduction [into power], Buquicchio said: ‘These are all political games, and I don’t want to get involved in these games,’” 168 Zham wrote.
