The identity of the dead body, which was found in a vehicle that was destroyed by fire in Armenia, has been determined.

The Police received a report, on Friday at 1:45pm, that a car had fallen into a gorge, it was on fire, and there was a dead body inside the vehicle.

The operative team, which was dispatched to the scene, found out that a Mitsubishi Pajero iO, which belongs to capital city Yerevan resident Gayane Martirosyan, was on fire for unknown reasons on the Abovyan-Masis motorway.

The police have determined that the dead body was that of Yerevan resident Arsen Matevosyan, 29.

Circumstances of the incident are being ascertained, and a respective investigation is underway.
