PARIS. - The negotiations over the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict had taken place in Paris on Monday, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.

The negotiations of President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, were conducted by the initiative of French President Francois Hollande and held with the participation of three co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk. After the negotiations continued between two presidents only. The overall results of negotiations were discussed late in the evening at a trilateral meeting of the Presidents Francois Hollande, Serzh Sargsyan, and Ilham Aliyev, as well as co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Igor Popov (Russia), James Warlick (USA), Pierre Andio Language (France), and Andrzej Kasprzyk.

All the parties noted the importance of ongoing dialogue and efforts to build confidence for progress in the peace talks. The lack of alternatives to peace talks has been emphasized by all participants as well. In addition, it was agreed to continue the negotiations.

In the evening, at the Elysee Palace, the President of France had given a dinner in honor of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan.
