YEREVAN. – Armenia’s 2015 State Budget draft has a clear social orientation.
Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said the aforementioned during the budget draft’s introduction at the National Assembly standing committees’ joint session on Tuesday.
“The [draft budget’s] social and cultural domain expenditures are about half of the entire amount of the 2015 budget expenditures,” he noted.
In the PM’s words, the draft budget envisions a proper level of spending for defense, maintenance of public order, and national security, with 21.4 percent of the total budgetary expenditures.
“We [, Armenia,] will continue to provide financial support to the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the year 2015, too,” Abrahamyan added.
