YEREVAN. – The opposition in Armenia cannot cooperate with the authorities with its old song, Government Chief of Staff-Minister Davit Harutyunyan told reporters on Wednesday.

“We [, the authorities,] would like to cooperate with the opposition. But if we listen to the same chorus, you can forget about cooperation.

“And we certainly want to cooperate around the analysis of the bills, new projects, [and] their potential drawbacks,” Harutyunyan stated.

To the query as to what the rallies of the parliamentary trio—that is, the three non-government National Assembly factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, and Heritage)—may lead to, the minister responded that he has not seen any political force that would leave power under the influence of the rallies and demonstrations staged by other forces.
