YEREVAN. – Armenia's Education Minister is holding talks with the Arab states about the opening of a school with specialized teaching of Arabic language.

Minister Armen Ashotyan said he cannot name particular countries, as talks are being held with several states.

The similar talks on a school specialized in teaching Persian language are underway with the Iranian partners.

“We pay major attention to similar programs as they enable to make education more competitive. The education in all secondary schools is in Armenian language, and there are additional class hours for getting deeper knowledge of a foreign language,” he added.
