YEREVAN. – In 2014, a total of 6,800 Armenian citizens will receive a repayment for their Soviet Savings Bank deposits.
The Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Artem Asatryan, noted the above-said at Friday’s 2015 State Budget draft deliberations at the National Assembly.
The socially insecure Armenian citizens who were born until 1930, and the participants in the military actions that were waged for Armenia’s defense are receiving the respective reimbursements this year.
“In mid-year, we [also] included the owners of the lands that were uncultivated because of the border shootings.
“About 5,000 people have received compensation since the beginning of 2014 up to and including October. And another 1,800 [people will be repaid], by the year’s end,” the minister stated.
