Kashatagh region of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic is ready to receive teachers, physicians, agricultural experts from Armenia.

Robert Matevosyan, representative of the Kashatagh regional administration, said the NKR government's decision on resettlement suggests many benefits for resettled families, such as low-interest loans, providing a building and construction materials.

“But taking into account the number of privileges, in my opinion, the rates of migration are quite low,” Matevosyan said. “The reason is unawareness. People often call and ask me whether there is shelling oin our region. That is, people are afraid of the border area. But I explain that the Ararat region is much closer to the border than Kashatagh region of Nagorno-Karabakh,” he said.

Robert Matevossian added that a new hospital will be soon built in Berdzor, administrative center of Kashatagh.

“And we will need experts,” he emphasized.
