YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister of Armenia, Hovik Abraham, received a group of disabled veteran pilots.

The Premier listened to their challenges and concerns, and promised to discuss and try to find appropriate solutions within the limits of the law.

The “Disabled Pilots’ Union” NGO members demand a compensation for the damages that have been caused to their health. They had acquired occupational illnesses while working, and their employer had to recompense for these illnesses. But no compensation has been paid to them since 2006, and the respective outstanding amount totals 570,000,000 drams (approx. $1,385,310).
