YEREVAN. - The son of Armenian Ambassador to Georgia Yuri Vardanyan, David Vardanyan, will serve his sentence in the Nubarashen penitentiary, Armenia News - NEWS.am reports.

According to the Justice Ministry Spokesperson Gore Glechyan, at the moment David Vardanyan is in the Goris penitentiary, from where he will be transferred to the Nubarashen.

Earlier the court sentenced David Vardanyan to four and a half years in prison after finding him guilty in smuggling drugs from Iran.
