YEREVAN. - Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan visited on Monday the “Candle” Synchrotron Research Institute, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports. President Sargsyan was present at the linear accelerator hall and discussed the activities and international cooperation programs of the Institute.
The linear accelerator electron beams enable precise ultrashort modern experimental research in accelerator technology. The studies are important priorities of the world’s leading accelerator centers.
During the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the “Candle” Synchrotron Research Institute chaired by the President Sargsyan, who is also the Honorary President of the Board of Trustees, board members discussed long-term development programs, aimed at different areas of the natural sciences experimental research.
