YEREVAN. – A young man has fallen into the Kajaran Copper Molybdenum Combine tailing, which is located in the Kapan area of Armenia’s Syunik Region.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) Rescue Service informed about the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The man had fallen into the tailing where there is a sludge-like residue.
The MES workers, police, and investigators are at the scene of the incident. They informed us that the young man has not yet been able to be removed from the residue collector.
Earlier, Artsvanik village prefect Anushavan Harutyunyan had told Armenian News-NEWS.am that the combine’s young worker, Artur Nahapetyan, had fallen into an ore residue while working nearby the canyon of Norashenik village.
