Famous Armenian actress Hasmik Gharibyan, 34, who passed away on November 2 in the United States, was laid to eternal rest on Monday, and beside her father, famous actor Ishkhan Gharibyan, in a capital city Yerevan cemetery.

Earlier, Hasmik’s family members, friends, and fans attended the church requiem service for her.

Prior to Gharibyan’s body being transferred to Armenia, however, a requiem service for her was offered in the US, too.

Hasmik Gharibyan had moved to the US in 2012, and the next year, she married Nerses Abrahamyan, the son of renowned organist Levon Abrahamyan. In April 2013, however, the loved actress was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer, which spread very quickly. As a result, she was hospitalized in Los Angeles, and the doctors did everything they could to save her life, but to no avail.
