Armenia’s Kajaran Copper Molybdenum Combine worker Artur Nahapetyan, 29, who had fallen into the Artsvanik village tailing, was not married.

Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned the aforesaid from the combine representative. They also informed that they will be covering all memorial service expenses for Nahapetyan and providing financial support to his family.

As to how the unfortunate incident had taken place, the combine representatives stated that this was a result of carelessness by the young man; his foot had slipped and he had fallen into the tailing.    

Earlier, Artsvanik village prefect Anushavan Harutyunyan had told Armenian News-NEWS.am that Artur Nahapetyan had fallen into an ore residue while working nearby the canyon of Norashenik village. After hours of work, the Ministry of Emergency Situations workers finally removed his body from the tailing.
