YEREVAN. – Eleven Armenian companies were permitted to export meat products to Russia, head of veterinary inspection Hovhannes Mkrtchyan told reporters on Tuesday.

One poultry farm and ten meat packing plants are in the list of permitted companies. The similar permissions will be soon granted by the sanitary bodies of Belarus and Kazakhstan – the Eurasian Union member states.

In the near future negotiations will be held with the Russian side to open the market for additional poultry farms and exports of the ground meat.
