YEREVAN. – Slovenia’s new Ambassador to Armenia, Nataša Prah, whose diplomatic residence is in the Ukrainian capital city of Kyiv, on Thursday presented the copy of her credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating the ambassador on her appointment, Nalbandian gave a positive assessment to Armenian-Slovenian relations, and stressed that there is a bilateral interest in the development of these ties. The Armenian FM wished the Slovenian diplomat success in her new mission, and expressed the hope that she will contribute to the strengthening of these relations.   

Ambassador Prah, for her part, noted that Slovenia underscores the expansion of cooperation with Armenia, and assured that she will do her utmost to deepen Armenian-Slovenian cooperation.  

Subsequently, the interlocutors discussed the ongoing efforts to invigorate bilateral cooperation and contacts in several domains. They also conferred on cooperation within international platforms, and urgent regional and international matters.      

In addition, Edward Nalbandian spoke about Armenia’s ongoing joint efforts with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing countries to achieve a pacific settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
