Armenia should become a part of transport corridor for Caucasus oil, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said.

Turkish PM delivered a speech during which touched upon regional issues and Armenia, Turkiye newspaper reported.

“Agreement on Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline was a great success. Because of this, Azerbaijan began to flourish, and Turkey also benefited. Only Armenia did not make use of it, since the country stubbornly continues to occupy the lands of Azerbaijan. I want to appeal to Armenia. When the Caucasian oil is transported to Europe, Armenia should become a part of this. We will be very happy to see reconciliation between Armenia and Azerbaijan,” Davutoglu said.

Despite the statements, it is the Turkish side that ruined implementation of the Armenian-Turkish protocols and continues to hold in the blockade of the Armenian border.
