North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has expressed a concern over the latest incidents that occurred in Nagorno-Karabakh.

The NATO Secretary General announced about the aforesaid at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session in The Hague.

“I’m concerned about the recent incidents and violence in Nagorno-Karabakh; this underlined that there can be no military solution to this conflict,” Stoltenberg said.

According to him, “there is no alternative to a political decision.”

“I see no direct role of NATO, but NATO supports the Minsk process to create conditions for peace in Nagorno-Karabakh through negotiations,” the NATO Secretary General noted, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
