Armenian National Assembly Speaker Galust Sahakyan-led delegation’s working visit to Saint Petersburg, Russia, wrapped up with a get-together with the Armenian community.

The parliament leader on Friday paid a visit to the Armenian Apostolic Church of the city.

After lighting candles in the church, Sahakyan met with representatives of the local Armenian community. He highly praised the community’s efforts to preserve the Armenian national values.

In addition, the delegation visited the Armenian Sunday school of Saint Petersburg and presented Armenian-language books to the school.

On the same day, Galust Sahakyan attended the launch of the book entitled The Fate of the Explorer.
