YEREVAN. – A 52-year-old woman has given birth to her first child on Monday in Erebuni Medical Center in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

Medical center press Secretary Shushan Hunanyan confirmed this information which Armenian News-NEWS.am had received.

The woman had a boy, and the newborn weighed 3 kg and measured 50 cm at birth.

Hunanyan added that the baby was given birth by Caesarean section.

Both the mother and the infant are doing fine, and they are expected to be discharged from hospital within three days.
