YEREVAN. – The Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia, Vache Gabrielyan, received Kirill Kornilov, the Eastern Europe/Asia Regional Manager of the IBM (International Business Machines) corporation.

Gabrielyan met with the IBM official in connection with the establishment of long-term cooperation in the creation of unique capacities in Armenia’s social sector.

And as the start of this cooperation, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Artem Asatryan, and Kornilov signed a memorandum of understanding. Pursuant to this document, the parties intend to explore the possibilities for the introduction of technologies and computing systems in the social sector, and to work out the best options for their application for a socially oriented country.

Deputy PM Gabrielyan underscored the establishment long-term business cooperation with IBM, which is a world leader in technological solutions in the social sector.
