YEREVAN. – The Police of Armenia received a report from a hospital on December 6 at 3:25pm.
Accordingly, Georgia citizen Andrei N. (born in 1986) had applied for medical assistance and he was diagnosed with lumbar spine and neck fractures. He informed that he had fallen into the Nor Hachn Canyon while parachuting.
It was found out that, on the same day at around 3pm, Andrei N. had jumped off from the Nor Hachn Bridge with a parachute, the Police media department informed. Not being able to control the parachute, however, he had hit a rock, fallen to the ground and, as a result, sustained injuries.
An investigation is underway into the incident.
