YEREVAN. – The prices for air tickets in Tbilisi remain more favorable than in Yerevan, founder of Armenia's Union of Travel Agents said.
“Our market of air tickets is behind Georgia and this is the reason some tourists prefer to fly from Tbilisi to popular tourist destinations. Of course, we would like to change the situation,” Marina Kpryan said.
The Armenian travel agents have not yet formed tour New Year packages to Georgia. Armenian tourists prefer seaside in the neighboring country to mountain resorts.
“Therefore, the main tourist influx from Armenia to Georgia is registered in summer,” she explained.
