YEREVAN. – The Investigation Committee of Armenia is preparing a report on Thursday’s attack against opposition Armenian National Congress National Assembly Faction Secretary Aram Manukyan.

A forensic examination has been commissioned, the committee press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In addition, it was found out that there was a video-recording device at the scene of the incident, and the respective video recording has been sent for examination.

At the same time, the Police have been instructed to take measures to determine the identity of the offender.

Aram Manukyan was assaulted on Thursday at around 8pm, as an unidentified person had hit the MP in the entrance of the building where he lives. Manukyan has been hospitalized, and he was diagnosed with concussion and fracture.
