Prime Minister of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan on Friday had face-to-face meeting with the President of Georgia, Giorgi Margvelashvili in Tbilisi.

The sides hailed importance of the Armenian-Georgian friendly relations. Prime Minister and President of Georgia expressed satisfaction with the high level of bilateral political dialogue and stressed that efforts should be made to raise trade and economic cooperation to the same level.

The sides also discussed the two countries' participation in integration processes and regional developments.

Prime Minister Abrahamyan conveyed President Serzh Sargsyan's invitation to attend the events dedicated to centennial of the Armenian Genocide that will be held next April.

For his part, Georgian leader conveyed his wishes to the Armenian counterpart and Armenian people.

The cooperation in trade-economic and humanitarian-cultural spheres were also reviewed at the meeting.

The meeting was followed by a working lunch during which delegations discussed issues related to communication, energy, tourism.
