YEREVAN. – Armenian parliamentary groups can issue a joint statement to condemn the assault on MP Aram Manukyan, speaker Galust Sahakyan said during a special session on Monday.

“You have such an opportunity, we can convene a special session in the evening, and we would like to have representatives of all factions present to sign the statement. I would like to ask you to draw the document,” he said, adding that it is impossible to interrupt the current session.

As reported earlier, an unidentified person assaulted and hit Aram Manukyan, an MP from the Armenian National Congress, in the entrance of the building where he lives. In addition, several days ago Karabakh war veterans Razmik Petrosyan, Manvel Yeghiazaryan and Suren Sargsyan were beaten.
