Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) issued agenda for the upcoming winter session.

Addresses by President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker and the President of Ireland Michael Higgins, , as well as debates on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine and on protection of media freedom in Europe are among highlights of the Assembly’s Winter session 2015 (26-30 January).

There will be a discussion of intolerance and discrimination in Europe, with a special focus on Christians. A joint debate on equality and the crisis, and on the right to bargain collectively, including the right to strike, is also foreseen.
