YEREVAN. – A new stage in terms of political dialogue and practical implementation will start at Eastern Partnership summit in Riga, EU Ambassador Traian Hristea said.
Speaking about effectiveness of Eastern Partnership project, he said that “it is not the end and most likely it is a start”, since much knowledge and professional skills were accumulated with six member states of the project.
The EU and member states learned much about priorities of each other.
“By using so-called differentiated approach and “more for more” principle, we will be able to take into account the priorities of member states. I am confident that the differentiated approach will be preserved in the future,” he said.
Asked about continuation of cooperation with such a state as Azerbaijan, Ambassador said EU's attitude towards each member states “will be conditioned by the merits of this country”.
