YEREVAN. – Passengers of Shirak airport in Gyumri will not have to pay duties on exit permit visas. 

The amendments on law on customs duties were adopted in the first reading during the Tuesday session of parliament.

According to the government, the losses of airport will be compensated by decrease in prices for air tickets and influx of tourists.

Shirak airport has been functioning since 1961 and is Armenia's second international airport.
