YEREVAN. – Difficulties for business in the current currency fluctuations are inevitable, Armenian Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan said in parliament on Wednesday.

He noted that situation requires quick stabilization, and it is necessary to rule out subjective reasons for further fluctuations.

“We need to separate the objective and subjective reasons in the interests of our economy. The role of the Central Bank is very important here, as the Central Bank determines monetary policy,” he said.

Commenting on the remark that a number of small and medium-sized enterprises may go bankrupt, the Minister said: “Difficulties are unfortunately inevitable, and government's possibilities are limited. Achieving stability is our common task. We will do what we can,” he said.
