YEREVAN. – The territories of Armenia's border villages that are under fire of adversary will be exempt from land tax, the government decided on Thursday.

The preference applies to 32 villages, but only on the lands that are not used because of the fighting or enemy fire. Real estate located in the shelling area will be exempt from property tax. The exemption will apply both to individuals and to organizations and enterprises.

The list includes 24 villages of Tavush Region, five from Vayots Dzor, two from Gegharkunik Region and one from Ararat Region.
