YEREVAN. – The exchange rates of the American dollar (USD) and the euro against the Armenian dram (AMD) have stabilized in Armenia’s banks to some extent.
As of Friday at 12:35pm, USD 1 was purchased at a maximum high of AMD 467.
The banks in Armenia bought the US currency at AMD 445-467/$1, Rate.am reported, and sold it at AMD 475-495/$1.
The euro, on the other hand, was bought at AMD 510-573/€1 and sold at AMD 585-620/€1.
The dollar and euro exchange rates, which had reached record highs in Armenia, began falling on Wednesday evening.
