YEREVAN. – Armenia has raised the issue of its citizens’ stay in Georgia for over 90 days, as respective problems had arisen.

Speaking to Armenian News-NEWS.am, the Armenian government has confirmed this information.

Amendments were recently made in the Georgian law on migration policy, pursuant to which problems may arise and penalties may be issued for foreign citizens, including Armenian nationals, if they stay in Georgia for more than 90 days.

But Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned that, as a result of negotiations with the Georgian side, the latter has pledged that this matter will be resolved by the law, and by no later than March 2015.
