YEREVAN. – The current complicated situation in the world requires coordinated actions from CSTO member states, Russian president Vladimir Putin said during the CSTO summit in Moscow.

“The situation in the world is changing dynamically, old problems are becoming acuter, but unfortunately, new ones are emerging and global security system is deforming,” Putin said.

He added that the situation demands from the CSTO member states “well-coordinated joint measures to ensure security of our countries and the region as a whole to combat terrorism, drug trafficking, cross-border crime and prevent natural and man-made disasters”, TASS reported.

CSTO has real possibilities to solve these tasks, Russian leader said, adding that the coordination between CSTO member states in the international platforms has improved.
