YEREVAN. - According to the preliminary data of official statistics services, in November, there was a serious decline in imports to Armenia, Armenian News - NEWS.am reports.

The official sources reported that in November foreign import to Armenia decreased by 11.8% compared to the same period of last year. Detailed information for December will be published at the end of the year. According to the same data, in January-October 2014, the volume of imports to Armenia also declined by 4.5%.

In January-September 2014, the physical volume of Russian natural gas supplies to Armenia has increased by almost 94 million cubic meters (or by 6.7%). At the moment, the average price of Russian natural gas to Armenia decreased from $ 260 to $ 207 per 1 thousand cubic meters. However, recently the situation in Russia has changed dramatically. In this regard, many expert do not rule out that Russia may significantly increase the price of natural gas supplied to Armenia.
