Difficult situation in global economy and politics will influence the process of establishment of Eurasian Economic Union, president of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev told reporters after the Tuesday session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.

Instability in world markets, the policy of sanctions, reducing confidence between the world powers, as well as military and political threats will influence the process, he explained.

He called on the members to be ready for a tough work and new challenges, TASS reported.

The Eurasian Union provides equal opportunities to 180-million population of the member states, Nazarbayev added.

He stressed that by creating solid economic foundation, the EEU member states will strengthen friendly and good neighborly relations and mutual trust.
