Why did you decide to create Moevideo project? What was your vision when creating the project?
We wanted to give an opportunity to the owners of resources to monetize their video content. Primary analysis revealed that resources offered by video hosting services cannot virtually help making money on the content they are showing.
How did you manage to compete with resources such as YouTube or Vimeo in the beginning of your project?
Such giants as YouTube and Vimeo can hardly be called our competitors, first of all because we are far from having such traffic. In addition, we are focused on a different direction: we rely on a partner program, where each site owner can start making money on video content almost immediately after he joined the project.
Can you name five main differences of Moevideo from similar projects?
We are trying to offer the most favorable conditions at the same time providing high quality service.

What does your hosting offer users and partners at the moment?
The service provides an opportunity to download video files in different ways and further monetize this content. It is worth noting that if a partner has a site with lots of content, he can have a “hot start” when he does not need to manually download content to our hosting, everything is done automatically.
HTML5 is becoming more popular and is gradually replacing the Action Script, i.e. Adobe Flash Player. How does your team cope with the situation?
Yes, Flash is gradually losing ground, but this will take several years. Of course, we are working on HTML5 version of the player, and at the end Flash will disappear. However, we do not think this will happen in the near future.
