YEREVAN. – The several interstate highways in Armenia partially lacked road signs that ensure traffic safety.

Within the framework of the State Motorway Reconstruction Project, however, refurbishment activities were conducted at some of these highways.

Accordingly, warning and privilege road signs were primarily placed along the interstate highway between the Dilijan Tunnel and the Dilijan city square.

In addition, privilege, prohibition, and special instruction road signs were posted along the Vanadzor-Dilijan interstate highway.

Furthermore, the metal barriers along these road sections were painted.

All respective work was carried out through the 2014 State Budget allocations.
