YEREVAN. – The exchange rates of the American dollar (USD) and the euro against the Armenian dram (AMD) have stabilized in the banks that are operating in Armenia.
As of Wednesday at 2pm, USD 1 was purchased at a maximum high of AMD 457.
The banks in Armenia bought the US currency at AMD 454-457/$1, Rate.am reported, and sold it at AMD 464-468/$1.
The euro, on the other hand, was bought at AMD 548-557/€1 and sold at AMD 566-580/€1.
The dollar and euro exchange rates had reached record highs in Armenia on December 17, but they have dropped ever since the same evening.
