YEREVAN. - The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) comprised AMD 461.10/$1 in Armenia on Wednesday, which is up by AMD 2.59 from Tuesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 562.68 (up by AMD 1.65), that of one British pound was AMD 716.92 (up by AMD 2.88), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.46 (up by AMD 0.07), informed the Central Bank of Armenia press service.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 232.9, AMD 17,430.15, and AMD 17,537.63, respectively.
Wednesday’s trading totaled USD 1,700,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 458/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 458/$1.
